Hi,

One of the requirements for filing K-1 Visa is to meet in person at least once within two years before filing a petition. Some of you think that if you meet in person once, it is enough to get approved K-1 Visa. So, let's discuss it! :dancing:

We met 7 times.

Shortest was a vacation of 7 days in Scotland and the longest was 8 week together.

But you have to think of the requirement that you just have to have met within 2 years. Otherwise some embassies are harder then others and therefore those it would be good with more facetime.

You don't have to and shouldn't compare your relationship with others, there are many other factors there also are in play.

My fiance and I are in the fortunate position that I'm able to visit her in the United States frequently, so I guess we've maybe met 15-ish times? Some of those times were shorter visits for a couple of weeks, others were longer for 2 months. We've also vacationed outside of both of our countries together. Our interview is January 20th - exciting!

I knew him from before but as a relationship once for 18 days in February 12, 2016 - March 02, 2016 then I applied while I waited I went and additional 3 times...

May 2016 4 days

June 2016 5 days

And August 4 days (for the Interview)

CO liked that I visited after submission he said a lot of people think I met requirement I am done...
