Hello June filers.

I'm about to mail my husband's I-130. I have a question hopefully I can get an advice, my husband had a throwback on his first attempt in 1999. He's been in the USA since then. We would file a 601A "provisional waver" once we get the I130 approval.

I'm in doubt if I should disclose the throwback on a statement with the I-130 or if I should wait to disclose this info. on the 601-A. What do you guys think I should do?

I hope they will start on November petitions soon. My patience starts to run out after almost 6 months of waiting. I know i am not the only one waiting this long..but aaarrrghhhh..

Any idea how long does it take to get NOA1?

We sent our Petition on 11/11/2016

and our Noa1 E-mail came 11/18/2016

So what you can do is check your bank and see if they cashed your check then you will get a Notice soon.

We did a money order and there was no way to know when it was "cashed." Since the money is taken out the bank when you make the money order. But as you can see below; we got our NOA1 7 days after delievery of the i 130. Although there is no set amount of time (for some it takes 2 weeks), normally it comes in about 1 week. So you should get it around the 1st of December.

I hope you get a better service center!

Thanks a lot for your insights. Yes, you are right with the bank there is no way you can know if it's been cashed or not but we got our money order made from Western Union. I checked with them today and they told me that it's not yet been cashed. It generally takes about 2 weeks and we had Thanksgiving too in between. 1st of Dec is a good estimation.

Oh okay! We did ours with the post office, so I guess thats why we could not know.
