Hey guys. My husband is a LPR and I'm an Indian Citizen. My PD is about to become current and my case is already completed at the NVC.

My question is that do I need to present the same original AOS that my husband sent to the NVC in the interview? I ask this because when we sent the AOS and all his and his parents' tax papers to the NVC, he was holding two jobs. But now, he has only one job. So the income numbers would naturally change.

Also, of what year tax returns do I need to take to the interview? The one's we sent to the NVC were of 2015, I think.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!

hi

yes, you would need to have a new and updated affidavit of support and hand it in

does he still qualify? if not your husband should get someone else

as long as your interview isn't after April 2017, you would have the same tax returns. 2016 taxes are only required after April 15th when tax season is over

Hey. I am yet to check in with my agent about his qualification. We had already included my in-law's income for safety but still I'll make sure. We had already sent the tax returns of 2015 to the NVC. And I'm pretty sure that my interview will be before April 2017. Do I still need the updated AOS?

Wouldn't there be discrepancy if I give them an updated AOS but the same old 2015 tax returns? Because my husband left his job after we sent the papers to the NVC.

I just checked our old AOS and his parents only have an income of around 35000$ per year. Adding his income, I'm hoping we will be fine. And by financial support, what papers do you mean? W2 and 1040 etc.? Because wouldn't that be available in the 2016 tax papers?

His parents' income cannot be added to his income unless he lives with his parents.
