Hi All,

Please inform if any one knows if my cousin is able to enter for the diversity visa lottery. He is currently living in USA under OPT Visa as he graduated from Berklee college of Music??

Could he enter for the draw??

Yes.. he can enter..International students and I believe anyone in the US that doesn't have immigrant residency status can apply.

make sure he applies before the deadline!

Case dispatched from diplomatic mail service to NVC : 01/23/2017

Case arrived at NVC: 01/26/2017

NVC sent case to USCIS : 02/09/2017 (system update)

Case receive by USCIS (text & email notification): 03/07/2017

He can enter, assuming he is from an eligible country, but if selected and he plans to stay in the US to do adjustment of status he needs to ensure he maintains a valid status until he can do the AOS. Of course he can also relocate home in the meanwhile.
