Jim, i thought that was odd too. Received this in the morning. Weekend overtime to catch up or just delays on the notifications? By the way, the ads on the android app are totally inappropriate.

I found this interesting.

It is NOT mine

It is someone else's approval for a I-130

Let's see who here can tell what is "interesting" or "unusual" about it.

Jim

Yes OT I was thinking the same thing. GOOD Let them work 7 days a week.

No complaints here.

Uhh oh? naughty dating sights.

Ads "sometimes" pop up based upon other related searches we have done...LOL

What is nice about the android app is that it can be set to alert you to approved cases. I don't think my IPHONE app does that but it does the graphs and 500 searches at a time.

That WAC number is 20K cases ahead of ours. As I thought Haiti is getting special treatment. I've seen this before but congrats to them none the less.

I have a concern, I just received my w2 from last year for this year's taxes, and because of my traveling to see my fiance and a clases I was taking, my income went from 21,000 to 19,995. I doblechecked the 125% poverty in minimum for our afadavit of support and it's 20,025. I have read I need this information for our interview, I could be wrong. But should I get a sponsor just in case?

Thank you for any help.

Yes, I would recommend finding one in case they ask for it since you are on the border. The 125% of the poverty line (which will likely increase in a couple months) is only a minimum. The CO will take into account the totality of your financial situation, and may still believe she could become a public charge and want a joint sponsor in case.

I doubt anyone's is doin any overtime. i have had the same app for a little over 2 months and i get notifications all day everyday especially in the middle of the night when i know uscis isnt working. i get them on holidays as well as weekends. I think its not actually real time but possibly a slight delay ...or someone is working night and inputting the info of cases that have been approved.

I didnt realize the medical exam could be quite some time before the interview. Though I have yet been approved, I'm wondering do they set the interview date or do you set the same. and does anyone know how much time u have to complete it. Need to know this because my fiance has his own business and will have to leave his place to travel closer to the consulate. SO he may need to start developing a plan now. DOES ANYONE KNOW THE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION?

Hi Mzladyq,

Different consulates have different requirements. For the Philippines it is recommended to have the medical 7-10 days before interview. Once you get NOA 2 there will probably still be 10 to 21 days before you will get the case number info from NVC to then schedule a medical.  You may want to ask at the regional forum for Nigeria/Africa when the time comes.
