The FBI will reportedly reopen its investigation into Hillary Clinton's private email server after learning of "the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation," Utah congressman Jason Chaffetz said on Friday.

NBC News also reported that the FBI will reopen its investigation. In a letter to Congress, FBI director James Comey wrote that the investigative team in charge of looking into Clinton's server briefed him on Thursday on new emails they found that might contain classified information.

"The FBI cannot assess whether or not this material may be significant," Comey wrote.

The question is why do it now? I mean I am all for any news that displays the corruption of Hillary, but if it was just a simple investigation, why not wait until after the election? Didn't they wait until after the 1973 inauguration of Nixon to bring him down?

i don't really think it's about 'meh', i think millennials are smart. they don't waste their time on pointless excercises. look at what are options are! we're either going to have a president who is clearly only president because she's put her time in and it's her turn OR we have a rank steaming pile of poo on a trump branded platter. it doesn't even seem real, let alone worth taking time off work for..

Something should be corrected here. The FBI is not contrary to media frenzy, 'reopening' the case. They never closed the case in the first place. Comey's previous statement, that they had completed the investigation is not actually a closing of the investigation. Furthermore, whatever emails they are taking a look at are in reference to an UNRELATED case (to the first investigation) that may or may not contain classified information. It is likely that they, like the rest will be ruled as not having classified information. It is not re-examining it's previous findings on the original case. They are simply applying the same investigative procedure to these documents, as they did the rest. There are sources saying these emails have not much to do with Clinton or Podesta either.

Oh, I was just borrowing from The Guardian calling us Gen "Meh," (I'm one of them but closer to the Gen X side)...didn't say I agreed with them about that. But the enthusiasm did die down a bit after Bernie, so I can see why an extra push might help get people out to vote.
