Im interested to know what some of you may think about this? I find it a bit contradicting to raise prices ,when you want ppl to do immigration procedures the right way ,i can also see lawyers and service companies raise their prices as well . Seems the main person whose on a lost are potential petitioners after this year

I find this sort of nice though

"USCIS will offer a reduced filing fee of $320 for naturalization applicants with family incomes greater than 150 percent and not more than 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. For 2016, this means, for example, that a household of four with an income between $36,000 and $48,600 per year could pay the reduced fee. Those eligible may apply for this option using the new Form I-942, Request for Reduced Fee."

It seems they are trying to help those who are more likely to have trouble paying the fees.

Oh wow, I didn't read closely enough to realize that the link is just highlights of the changes on another page. I was wondering where the fire was.

Really terrible highlights at that. Some fees are more than doubling and they feel like mentioning the $45 increase for the N-400? Of course.

Sorry Alien Entrepreneurs.

Seems fair to me, if in their argument they exist primarily from the fees they charge. Again they say, they have not increased fees for 6 years. Since 2010.

it doesnt mean they will be able to provide better and faster service, the fact that we still have to send hard copies blows my mind.

I-601 waiver Application fee is going up by $445 almost double. I certainly hope they use that money to hire more adjudicators because waiting almost one year for waiver decision is ridiculous.
