hey guys i have been struggling from past 1 year to get my girlfriend here to usa she has applied in the same university and has a scholarship of about $13000. she is really talented but has financial issues and is unable to get financial documents. what can i do to get her here, should i go for any other visa? she has never travelled outside india no one has passport in her family except her so i think it would be difficult to get tourist visa. as i am myself a student here so i can't sponsor her she is unable to get a loan as they are asking for collateral. i really need help asap she has her last differ left and now she has to come in jan whatever happens i.e. winter 2017

any suggestions what to do?

universities have legal assistance to help with visas to study when foreign students are accepted

what is required is a year's tuition guaranteed

but this is not permanent visa and if you are trying to get her here to live with you, you need to do the K1 financee visa

you will need cosponsor

OP is on F1 visa, not a US citizen (K1 visa is not applicable here)

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

If you married her, she could come as a F2 category as still study part time at an approved school. You'd have to show additional funds in that case, but it might be an option for you.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

You don't have much of an option. You can't bring your girlfriend. She can keep trying for other schools to see which one would add assistantship position to the admission. That way, she can at least make some money towards her tuition.

Could you take your credits and go back home and complete your course near where she lives?

Sounds like you're desperate to get her to the US and get her away from being married to someone else. Marry and bring her as a spouse.

Or if you love her that much, return to India and marry there as Boiler suggests. You can always complete your studies later.. but you can't get her back if she's married off to someone else.
