What to bring to change my surname in my ssn, help!

Hi guys im a K1 visa here.. i just got married and i have my ssn but my last name in my ssn card was when i was single and i want it to change it, but i dont have my greencard yet. Is it possible that i could change it and what are the recquirements that i need to bring?thank you

Wait until you have your EAD/AP in your married name. SSA will have to accept that.

If your I-94 is still valid, you can take your printed I-94 form with you, your marriage license or a certified copy, passport and your current SS card. If your I-94 is not valid anymore, wait for your EAD or greencard,
Mine was still valid when I changed to my married name and this is what I took with me and they changed my name successfully.

Easiest to wait until you have your green card in your married name. SSA offices are good about allowing the name change with just the marriage certificate, some want to see the green card with your married name as well.

Visa chase and citizenship.. DONE!
