Hello everyone, I have been reading the forum for a quiet sometime and finally decided to post today, first off my story:

I am a U.S citizen living in the U.S since 1998 along with my family, Originally my family and I are from Pakistan, I have practically grew up in the states. In 2010 I fell in love with my current wife who happens to be from India. She also grew up here in the states having immigrated from India. In 2012 her family left the U.S.A , her dad told their family they have to leave or they will get deported, so they leave back to India (huge mistake I know), we marry over skype, I apply for her visa we get the interview last year in October and after the interview they told my wife she needs to file an I-601 waiver, turns out the father had been lying and they had overstayed illegally in the USA meanwhile he never told his family any of this. We applied for the I-601 and we got a receipt notice that it had been received on February 19 2016, I am just wondering if anyone here also has a I-601 from around that time frame? I havent Seen her in 4 years and we have been married for 2 years ....I just want this to end :(

So the marriage hasn't been consummated? As far as I know, marriages where the parties were not present in the same room are not eligible for immigration benefits until they have been consummated.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

The marriage and all of that is beside's the point, there is no problem with that at all. We have our marriage certificate. the process was going smooth up until her interview in India.

Feb 25 received date here, still awaiting our response. Seems they've been processing submissions near the Feb 4 timeframe, and very slowly these past few weeks. With the holiday season coming up soon here, I'm wondering if it's going to be a while.

Hello

I'm about to mail my husband's I-130. I have a question hopefully I can get an advice, my husband had a throwback on his first attempt in 1999. He's been in the USA since then. We would file a 601A "provisional waver" once we get the I130 approval.

I'm in doubt if I should disclose the throwback on a statement with the I-130 or if I should wait to disclose this info. on the 601-A. What do you guys think I should do?

I know this is late, but our I-601 was submitted 3/29/2016 and we just rec'd notice that is was approved on 2/21/2017.  So 11 months is how long it took for it to be processed.

My fiancee's home country is Peru and I am a US Citizen.
