Actually Stevephoto, all one needs to do is get the 30 day stamp at the airport window and then go to the Immigration Office in Manila and you can extension after extension. That's from a friend who did it. I plan to stay as long as it takes. Thanks for the reply. I have friends staying at my home who will send a pic of the NOA2 and the NVC/MNL number.

Things change all the time in the Phils!!! Again, don't wait for the NVC letter. It might not come! Please do check out those two links I sent you. Greenbaum and PhilippineSagot have this process down for Manila. Follow their guidelines step by step and you will be fine. Good luck.

Yea, they change all the time. Hopefully Pres. Duterte will straighten everything out.

Like I said, all you need is a 30 day visa stamp when you arrive and then go to Immigration Office and pay the fee to get an extension every 60 days. My fiancee has a Norwegian living across from her with his Filipino girlfriend and he goes to Manila every 60 days for an extension. She asked them personally and that's what he does.

Thanks.
