I just realized I sent the wrong size passport photos

The pictures I sent in for my G-325A are too small. What kind of damage will this do to our petition?

It depends on the adjudicator, to be honest. Some get RFE'd for it but in this similar sitution; I send the K1 package off with my G-325 + 35 x 45 mm passport photo's (EU). I didn't get any RFE for that, it passed.

I just measured it and it is 3.5 cm by 3.5 cm which is a little more than 1 1/3. I can't believe I did this...I actually have the 2 inch ones here. We took them in Mexico when I visited last month. I just sent my i-129F yesterday and I thought I checked and double checked it. I feel dumb.

In that case, if it really worries you, cancel the check and send it in again with the right photo's.

Do not feel dumb, you're not the first person to do this and definitely not the last. It's a common mistake that happens! Learn from it for the next applications you have to send out (Like AOS)

I stupidly forgot the last page of our removal of conditions form and they sent the entire packet back telling us what we missed and we sent back that page and all was fine but that was at a different stage of this entire process.

Like I said, it all depends on the person that works on your petition but most people in the K1 stage get RFE'd for missing pages, papers, missing checked boxes, wrong passport photo's etc.

They only send it back if a page of the main form for the petition/application is missing, or if there's no check/money order in the package and such.

Something smaller like passport photos, missing divorce decree etc, they'll only give you an RFE and not return the whole thing to you.

At most an RFE. Most likely nothing. It's the photos at the interview that matter the most since they're the ones for the visa.

Thank you all for your replies. After reading your responses and looking throughout visajourney.com, I feel better. I WILL DEFINITELY NOT cancel the check. I will keep praying that we don't get an RFE and they accept it as it is....it isn't much smaller, but it is smaller. If we get an RFE, I am ready to send the appropriate sized photos.
