Timeline

Well, in this case I am afraid you need to wait. But also, it does not mean anything if NVC processes your petition, until your Priority Date is current, you can`t have an interview. So, don't worry too much about NVC delay, the Priority date is what matters to you. Unfortunately, a green card holder petition is not treated the same way, as the petition of a US citizen.

On a fair basis, I do agree that citizen should have faster processing, after all they are citizen of the country.

Timeline

Today we got an email stating we were sent to California Service Center. I think this is faster than Nebraska?

So my dates:

Received by USCIS: 19th October

Email notification: 24th October - California Service Center

There are now updated processing charts on the Califronia Center.

Interesting is that first time to my knowlage, I-130s of LPR and I-130s of Americans are not treated the same and have different processing timelines!

My husband call the last week to USCIS and they said that We expect news about my case after March 16.
