ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING EMBASSY LEVEL FOR I-730 PETITION

Hello All,

i had my I-730 Petition (REFUGEE ASYLEE RELATIVE PETITION) interview on 1st June at the Islamabad embassy.

the officer told me that i will get my passport by the end of July but still the Case is Under Admin Processing.

does anyone know if this takes this long or is it just the I-730 petition that is taking this long.

i have read people getting Visa mostly after 3 or 4 Months of AP.

let me know your suggestions if any one had the same experience of I-730 and how does it goes.

Any update on your guys case? My i730 approved in 2014, In 2016 uscis sent it to NVC (yes it took 2 years for them just to mail the package) and NVC send it to embassy for interview in same month. Embassy scheduled the interviews for wife and kids, took the passports and its now 10 months its still in AP! lol be patient.

Hey John Peterson. What's your case status now? R u in USA? I have the same case and office said that i can pick my passports in 4-5 days. And now its more than a month case is still in AP.

how are you? trust this post finds you well. NO I am still in Pakistan and waiting for the Visa, the CO told me that I will get my visa next month but its been 1.5 year now. I don't check my status on the CEAC website neither I ask the embassy for any update since its very frustrating checking everyday for the same status and getting the same reply from the embassy. I left it in Gods hand when it will come I will get a call.

Yeah thats right. Its really frustrating. I am away from my mother since 4.5 years. I am helpless now, praying so much to Allah. I left my university and internship as well just because interviewer said u will get ur passports within 4 days then u can make ur travel arrangements. But its getting too late. I am so much worried. Hope everything gets well soon. Best of luck to you as well

Lucky man atleast co give you next month hope. Here i am on same boat.. my brother family stuck in administrative processing for over 17 months now....still no update same usual response everytime.

No update. Last update was on 23rd January. too frustrating I must say. What abt u

Nothing same last update on 23rd jan. Its 2 years now. One of my family relative had a interview on feb 28. Their passports are taken now lets see how they process their case. I-e issue visa or put in ap like others.

Hi, no not yet. still with you on the same boat. no updates at all.

I believe they are trying to gather at least a 100 people who have I-730 Visa class.

once they gather all 100 they will issue the visa to all of Us. Hehehehe

Oh!!  I guess what.. This is really painful for me to say it myself but i think asylee cases are delayed much more than the regular immigrants. I have come across 4 asylees here and they have been waiting since 1.5 or 2, years including u... I am waiting since 5 and half months now. VO said to me that i can get my passport back in 4 days lol... Your family relative who had interview on feb 28 is also a beneficiary of I-730?
