I'm 9 days late (sorry), but I got my IR2 visa! Here is my interview experience. My interview was at US Embassy in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Interview was september 19th at 8:30.

I arrived at 7:50. Guard told me to come about 5 minutes before 8:30. So I did, they asked me for my name, checked the list and let me in. Then I gave all my stuff for xray annd I was searched. They found sim card in my wallet which I still haven't found. I had to leave my wallet but take my paper money and cards. One guard was really great, other one was not really pleasant. So I went inside waiting room. There were only two of us. They called that guy and then me. Lady who I talked to was actually bosnian. She took my military paper, proof that I'm not married, birth certificate and passport as I recall. She asked me few questions that were written on those papers, just to check, like my fathers name, where he lives, mothers last name and such. Maybe 5 questions.

Then she told me to sit down and wait to be called again. Few minutes later, American lady called. She was really pleasant, smiled all the time, just made that me much less nervous. She asked me english or bosnian and I said english, even though I can stutter sometimes because I don't have enough conversations on english. She asked me what is my fathers job, who he lives with, how many children does he have, where he lives and few more. Then she said "Congratulations, your visa is approved, I wish you all the best in your new home". I was just stunned, didn't even realize what she just said. She gave me yellow paper with passport pickup instructions. I thanked her and went to get my stuff from guards and that was it. I was at the gate at 8:22, I was out at same place at 8:57. Giving my stuff to guard and picking it up took the most of that time. Interview was actually really great!

So that is my experience. For those having interview in Sarajevo, now you know what to approximately expect! Good luck everyone!
