I sent the wrong aos form to the nvc so

on the day of the interview the Co requested dor a new one.( he told us is not really a big deal).all done with the interview. we just need to send the right form. Husband didn't get his passport back( i don't know if that's a good sign.) We are under administrative processing but we didn't received any 221g form at the releasing window. The lady just sent me an email regarding of what right document to send and where to send them. do i need to fill up any form to attach to the docs needed before sending them?

i've read somewhere that there is a yellow paper, pink paper, and white paper...

*** Country-specific thread is moved from the CR-1 Process forum to the Philippines regional subforum. ***

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

First off you're getting ahead of yourself. You need to get a hold of the 221-g and follow the instructions contained therein. Everything will be contained in that email and how to fill it out, what's required and how to return it back to usum.

Hi, I had my interview just yesterday and after the interview the consular officer gave me a letter that includes a denial under section 221(g) for some missing document of the joint sponsor. She highlighted precise rows that said " please provide the joint sponsor's original signed affidavit of support (I-864) along with proof of his/her citizenship or legal permanent resident status and his/her W2 and complete federal income tax return transcript from IRS for the year 2015".

My wife had already sent that to the NVC, the original signed affidavit of support along with federal income tax Return Of the last three years that includes year of 2015! And now I got a pending denial because of it! Please what should we do in this case. My wife had sent those forms to the NVC before the interview! Is possible those forms were missed? And I was put for administrative processing as well. The consular officer delivered my passport to me is that a bad sign or what? I want to proceed the visa issuance as soon as possible what should I do please help.

Any soon reply will be appreciated

You did get a 221g only didn't know it. THAT email IS your 221G, print out a copy of that email and include it with the required documents. Follow instructions in that email.

No more yellow, pink or white paper for the 221g.

She did get a 221g... the email from the CO is the 221g. They have not handed out 221g at the embassy in a year or two, all are emailed.

Just send everything they asked for. they didn't return my husband's passport so i don't know if its a good or bad sign getting your passport back without a visa. we just got an email regarding on whats missing but not a denial letter. may i know what does it say on the letter?

Keeping the passport is a good thing giving the passport back is not a good thing.

The letter they received is not a denial letter but a letter (commonly referred to as a 221g) requesting additional information. Once the CO has and reviewed the returned documents they will render a final decision. Right now their case is in limbo.

Yeah I believe that. We just want to make it faster if not for a visa for a division to be made cause it will hurt us so much to wait forever and then the end is no visa! Thanks
