G-325A help - complicated employment history

Hi all - I am almost ready to send my I-130 package for my husband's CR-1 visa (yay!)

My issue is with the G-325A form for me (the USC).... In the past 5 years I have had a mix (and overlap) of self-employment and 'typical' employment. For example, I am a yoga instructor at several studios, and I also have multiple clients as a freelance writer. At the same time I also had a short stint with a store where I was a "traditional" employee and got a W-2.

1. I would appreciate any thoughts about how to best present my employment information clearly without going overboard on detail. To use IRS parlance -- its clear that you need to list all employers you've received a W-2 from, as well as, indicating periods of self-employment or unemployment, but do you also need to list everyone you have received a 1099 from during that self employment? Since I have 2 different kinds of self-employment (writing and yoga teaching) do I need to put them on separate lines? I don't want to do something wrong but I also don't want to write down every single client I've had over the past 5 years and overcomplicate things if it was not necessary.

ALSO

2. The question towards the bottom that says "this form is submitted in connection with an application for" what does the USC fill out and what does the Spouse fill out? I have seen conflicting advice on how to fill this out on this site and in a NOLO Fiance/Immigration Visa book I have... Some people have said that both the USC and the Spouse tick "other" and write I-130, while others have said the USC ticks "other" and writes i-130 while the Spouse ticks "status as a permanent resident"...

Thank you in advance for your thoughts!!

Use as many separate sheets as you need. I used things similar to the following except the self employed part:

XYZ Company From To

Seeking Employment From To (In between Jobs)

ABC Company From To

Self Employed From To

Seeking Employment From To

EFH Company From To

Part 2 - You fill out maybe "In Support of Spouse's I-130", She fills out "In Connection with I-130"

I ticked Other and wrote "I-130" for both mine and my husband's G-325As, as that was the form I was filing them in conjunction with. You don't need to get all that specific or wordy.

My Convoluted Story (see my profile for more details)

Mar 2010 - Visited Morocco for the first time, got engaged

I am a 1099 dance teacher & choreographer. I wrote "self employed"on the G325 because I am a sole proprietorship.

All needed info should be in your IRS return. (not certain about transcripts, however). It may be different because I am sponsoring for a k1 and not CR--1

Thanks! I ended up sending in a separate sheet with a lot of detail (just to be safe). For the yoga job, I listed self-employed and yoga instructor - with the years - but did not list the various studios/gyms. I figured if they wanted to know all of those details they can ask for it at the interview. I'll update this is if I happen to get an RFE, but I'm hoping it will be ok!
