During the last government shutdown in 2013, the impact for most customers of USCIS was minimal. OMG. Cant wait! its been 3 years since i came and havnt gone back to home country yet. i guess i am just waiting for 10 year GC.  We are moving this month to our new home here in MO. United states postal service has been updated of address change , but i and my husband still need to update USCIS.  But its feels great to see CSC moving!  Congrats to those who are approved . My case was received on 09/16/2016.

I remember this story. This is because he filed N-400 based on marriage that was already divorce.

I talked to a tier 2 officer on Friday and I was told the shutdown will not affect USCIS

Hey guys . I am about to fill out change of address form online on Uscis website. It asks for the receipt number. We have two receipt numbers right? One on NOA and one On biometrics ( the one which we use for tracking our case). Which one shall i put on address change form online? please help. Thanks!

There's only one main number, the one which you use when checking your status online. Try both and see which one will return your status.

I ended up entering both receipt numbers in two slots (one under another) and selected i751 for both . It said it has successfully updated it and I have received AR11 and service request confirmation numbers.

Yes, it was quick. The ROC case status online just says "closed" now- we haven't heard anything else about it and don't think we will now that he has been approved and sworn in... thank you!
