Hi September filers...my lawyer told me she mail the I-140 to Phoenix Friday and she gave me there's king number for USPS. I try to track it and that number keep saying not found. Is that normal?

I thought it will say process instead not found. Or they haven't put it in the system yet?

It was 4:30pm when I got her email last Friday and I waited until today to tracks it but nothing.

Any of you had that problem before?

Hi nyokie,

We sent our package via USPS on Sept. 6th and got the tracking number on the receipt.

I went home and tried to track it immediately, and the status shows "Acceptance" on Sept 6 approx same time we were at the post office too.

Perhaps your lawyer provided the incorrect number? (Either missing a digit or too many) Best to take a picture of it instead of typing.

I email her to send me copy of it, I don't know if this is the reason why it keep saying not found. But I will wait until tomorrow and Wednesday the latest to see if it in the system

I sent my petition in on August 31st and received my email and text on September 8 that they received it. On my email it said to not log in until after you receive the physical NOA1. Of course I tried it yesterday and my number can't be found as well.

Back to being patient and wait for the physical NOA.

The sane happened to me. I called USCIS and the automated system couldn't find my number as well. I then spoke to a very nice gentleman, and he said give it about another week or two and it should recognize your number. He said if it doesn't show up to call them .

I am among Sept filers and filing for my wife.

I-130 mailed on 9/6/16.

Package Delivered on 9/8/16 at Chicago, IL.

Email & SMS received on 9/12/16 from USCIS saying case transferred to CSC.

Waiting for NOA1...

Received my NOA1 today in the mail. I'm surprised how quickly it got here. I got the email and text on Thursday, September 8 and it was at my door today, Tuesday, September 13. What I am confused about is my priority date (PD) is September 7 but my notice date (NOA)/received date is September 2.

Should I be going by my notice date or PD?

Received my NOA1 in the mail today 5 days after I received the email and text. Priority date (PD) is 9/2/2016 but my NOA date is 9/7/2016. I wonder which one I should be going by.

I also checked the USCIS case/receipt number status and my number worked.

Just shoved the forms in the mailbox about 10 mins ago.... is it 9-12 months yet!? Phoenix lock box! Hubby is from Denmark, super excited to understand what a normal marriage feels like!! And to get mad at him for leaving socks on the floor instead of dealing with scheduling skypes!

My tracking is working on usps,I guess my mail should be at Phoenix by next week Wednesday or Thursday.
