Okay me and my fiance are mat be a month away from getting an interview! It's here in korea my fiance called once to the nvc they was sending our case to the embassy here where I live. That is good it's Been in korea a week now. I'm extremely excited to set the interview, but my cenomar in philippines is in process and there always needing documents it's like a huge run around it needs a degree registration and then taken to the nso. And then they will give me a date. Normally I heard 10-12 working days. Is there anyway around this or something I can do I'm scared I won't have it and I still need the red ribbon. I'm extremely nervous it won't be done in time. That is when the embassy sends my my packet and I get a date. Still very stressful and my fiance and I have put a lot of time and money into obtaining the documents we need from manila. The visa process hadn't been bad but I've been waiting 2 years to marry this man.... please help any advice.

Processing your application for CENOMAR will take some time. But the good thing is NOTHING in the visa process requires that your documents need to be "red ribbon". NOTHING. This process is slow and tedious at best. You need to have lots of patience. Remember your only at the first phase of your journey. Once in US you will need to do AOS, ROC and naturalization. You still have 3-4 years ahead of you till you finished. So relax and take it easy. Everything falls into place as long as you are on top of the process.

are you going to be interviewed in Korea? did you got your packet 3 instruction? here's a copy of one from US embassy South Korea, i have not seen that you need a CENOMAR.. but correct me if i am wrong.. Every US embassy in every country has different requirements and procedure for k1 visa processing
