Well, it looks like they have received our 221 g documents (which was more proof of relationship) but I have not received any email from them confirming this (unlike how others have mentioned they should a day after the embassy receives their 221 g documents). We only think this because 2GO lists our documents as received by Mr. Leonilo Bernardino on August 31 and when we checked the CEAC case tracker the status is updated to September 1.

What's the current CEAC Status?

Previous U.S. Visa/Trips

03-30-2016 : He proposed before I left U.S.

But, I have a very important business meeting to physically attend in Cebu on 04/04. I also have a business trip due in Japan for May 2016.
Circumstances lead me to K-1.

What's the current CEAC Status?

Still stuck in the pit of Administrative Processing. This takes a while for others too but I am planning to send USEM an email tonight if I don't receive one from them today just to let them know we're keeping a hawk's eye on our case's progress.

Our interview went really easy. We were shocked how easy it was. That is why your interview was so shocking to me when I read it. I can understand the question about the 5 days but what I don't understand is how the answer of approved or not approved was never clear. So weird. I think it was approved though. He was just being a jerk about it I think. I get to go get Rea the 10 the 10th of this month and we will be in the US the 24th.

Hey, Kyle! Congratulations! That's great news!

I see you're up in Portland! I'm near you in Eugene! It's still going to be a while for us due to finances, but after my fiancee moves here, too, we should get together sometime and compare journey stories. :)

(Dan and Radinka, sorry to go off-topic on your thread . . . . :) )

Please check out my music video for "Bright Side of the World", the song I wrote for my fiancee. You can watch the video on YouTube here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKu3SvqCBfg

Thanks for listening! :)

Hi Dan and Radinka,

Hope all is well. I've read your thread as it seems a bit similar to our current situation. "The consul officer didn't tell her she was approved or denied, but said they might contact her for more information. The only thing they gave her was a pamphlet on domestic violence and instructions to verify the address for visa delivery at ustraveldocs."

Interview date was February 13, 2017 and we've checked CEAC update status still shows “READY” and nothing has changed since then. It has been 15 working days even though we've emailed and called the Embassy Manila for follow up but still have not received any updates to-date either. How long do we have to wait whether the visa was approved or not?

Any advise would be helpful.

The visa processing steps after visa interview are as follows:

1. The first AP is the immigration unit doing the paperwork for approving the visa

2. The first READY is a notice that they are finished and the paperwork is being sent for visa issuance

3. The second AP is the visa issuance people doing their own paperwork

4. The second READY is that the visa has been issued and is currently being processed for delivery

Next it will be ISSUED which it is being released for delivery and has left the building with 2go.

No one can tell anyone when they will get there visa. There has been some who received in two days and others more than three months. Normal delivery is around 3 weeks if the sun, moon and mars are lined up so don’t run out and buy any airline tickets till your visa is in your hands.

Thank you @Greenbaum for your quick response. Suffice it to say, CEAC changes every now and then, it's just a little odd it hasn't gone to AP yet since the status keeps indicating as "Ready" even though we've been closely monitoring it everyday for the past 2 weeks or so now.

We're quite anxious at this point as to when we'd hear from the embassy or if CEAC changes somehow and hoping the visa will be released for delivery soon...

I tend to think the new "vetting" requirements are going to slow all visa approvals down some.  What use to be maybe 2 weeks for status to reach ISSUED is now going to be a faint memory.

Is it a lot harder trying to prove your relationship for Fiance visa?? The embassy told us we had to prove more docs. For spouse visa. Show receipts if Western union and explaining on a page what you sent the money for. Try to show screenshots of conversations together

Harder?  Usually NO.  But if the CO has any doubts.. it can be demanding.  If the CO asked for more documents showing your ongoing relationship, provide many pictures together, lots copies of chats/texts/emails ... and yes many today use video chat... a down-side for the evidence requirement for sure.

Money receipts are sort of a maybe in my book.. I send money to my bank all the time ;)   But for a spouse I would think it would add evidence.

PLEASE HELP!!!
After a dreadful wait for visa approval, fiance has been called back for 2nd interview!?

Now, we are not sure what do expect at all. Had to book another flight to fly all the way to the embassy next week for a second interview. Quite frankly, this has been such an emotional drain! We do not know what to expect nor why we would get asked to come in again?!!!!

Your fiancee received an email from the embassy with another interview date?  No mention of other documents needed?

They found something in their review that warrants a second interview.. obviously.  And that is not very common.

But without more info on what the embassy may be wanting more info about ... all you can do is go to the interview.

It all sucks big time.  BUT "the man with the gold makes the rules". Be glad you didn't get an outright denial.  Just be confident and answer their questions honestly.

Dear Greenbaum, my mom filed me for IR-2 and the interview has been scheduled already. What kind of questions will the interviewer ask? I don't have so many photos with my father. Will this influence my application? And at least how many pics should I prepare? Thanks!

For countries like the Philippines...I doubt it.  Just my opinion.
