I had my interview on the 9th August 2016 at the US consulate Islamabad, the usual routine and was given 221g form with denied mentioned on it.

i have created this topic to get to know the usual wait time for AP in 2016, as previously the AP average time was almost 6 months to an year,

whereas in 2016 its average time is 3 to 6 weeks.

kindly share your cases. thanks.

I saw your timeline. Your PD is Jan 2014. Why was your interview this late? Your PD has been current for quite a bit - currently its Nov 2014.

It took some time at the visa center, i had my interview on 9th August 2016, it got delayed due to some review by the supervisor at NVC, my mistake i sent an e mail regarding some lack of information in my form I130, now leaving everything behind finally i got my interview done on the 9th, i asked the CO should i be happy or wait to be happy, he said wait to be happy, :( The status shows Its in ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING, lets hope it takes average time. what about you.?

about my timeline, i was going through it (to fill it) I Had to find my documents for complete accurate dates, my petition was submitted in December 2013 and got accepted in 2014 Feb.

I got delayed 3 months after my priority dates came under the cut off date.

Thank you for the information. Indeed it was like this in 2011-12-13 because the system was being upgraded, now they have upgraded it the duration of the AP has substantially reduced now but more number of people have to go through AP process now. I do feel for your bro, 22 months are almost 2 years, hope you're having a good time there.

Good Luck
