Hey guys, I need some help. My friend (the beneficiary) is married to a Legal Permanent Resident. She was born in the Dominican Republic, but shes a Turkish resident and has a daughter, who was also born in the Dominican Republic but is a Turkish Citizen. He wants to file for her to become a permanent resident of the U.S. but he's not sure if he should file for her to do the Consular Processing (NVC) with Dominican Republic or with Turkey. Please advise. Also since they have a child and a minor, she's a derivative from the mother so she can just be added to the NVC documentation and pay the $325 for the processing of her visa as well. Please help me out so I can inform them. Thank you.

read the post, it says her husband wants to file for her permanent residence

OP, where does his wife live, in DR or Turkey?

Because the husband is s green card holder and not a US citizen the process will take about 2-2 1/2 years from start to finish
