Petitioner's birth certificate needed for DS-260 supporting documentation?

Background:

I submitted my DS-260 in March of this year. Then my wife came to the US from Honduras on her tourist visa in April to have our baby here. Baby was born a few weeks ago (off topic, but she's adorable).

Now I'm getting ready to submit the supporting documentation for the DS-260. Will do that once we have the baby's passport, then my wife will fly back to Honduras with the baby to await her embassy interview appointment.

Main question:

Does anyone know if I need to give my wife an original or certified copy of my birth certificate to take to the embassy interview? I can't tell if it's just her original birth certificate (or a certified copy) that's needed from how the instructions at https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/Supporting_documents.html in the Birth Certificate section are worded.

According to a paper that my lawyer gave me it says that the original petitioner's birth certificate is needed if it is a parent/child or sibling visa. So my answer to you would be just a copy. But, it says here that you would need the original divorce or marriage papers.

Just to be clear, you're saying "No, your wife will not need to submit an original of your birth certificate for her embassy interview" correct?

That is correct.

Birth certificates of petitioners are only needed at the NVC stage for IR-5 (parent of USC) or F4 (sibling of USC) categories.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!
