I would like to know the process of an expedited I-601 waiver. Has anyone done this before?

*On July 26, 2016, we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited

*On July 26, 2016, your request to have your case expedited, referral number ******* was completed

Any one knows that should go after that?

I did an expedite 2x for medical reasons. the 1st was denied and I received a letter of the denial, the 2nd expedited I re - submitted 6/29 with proof from medical doctor, this 2nd time around on 7/5/16 I received a letter via mail July 5, 2016, stating it has been transferred to an office for further review. I called 7/21/16 they told me to wait 15-30 days more.

I don't know what to expect its almost

I was told the same yesterday to wait 30 days as it is taking them a little longer for the case to be looked at. This is a very stressful. When did you file your waiver?

It is very stressful, I'm afraid my expedite was not approved. It has been 1 month and nothing I have heard or letter recieved. I sent mine in 6/28/2016. I did hear that its recommended to do an expedite 2 months after date you mailed waiver, Im not sure if that is correct.

Have you heard something????

I haven't heard back all I got was a letter from on August 1st stating the time it is taking them and at the bottom of that letter it states that if I didn't receive a response 15 days after the date of the letter it was going to be a denial. I am praying to GOD I hear some good news soon. It hasn't been 15 days but I am wishing and hoping for the best. I sent my waiver to the lockbox here in Phoenix but I don't think it has been sent out yet because when I got the letter for expedite it still had the Phoenix lockbox address. Good Luck as in we all need it.

The only response I got back was as of today August 15, 2016 your request to have your case expedited, referral number *****, is currently not assigned for processing.

Anyone know what this means?
