I'm visiting Afghanistan right now and it's devastating to even walk out of your house most of the time they can come any time anywhere even when there isn't a protest. They kill innocent people and have even warned that there are 2 more suicide bombings coming into Kabul, they're animals!!!

What are your thoughts on bringing folks from countries that we cannot vet.. Cannot verify who they are because fake passports can be printed out by isis... because they control the passport offices in some countries . ..Say 1 or 2 isis supporters per hundred flow into the United States with the crowd ???.. That is not too unreasonable .. or unbearable risk to handle ... according to H.R. Clinton.

I agree that it is such a huge risk bringing people into the country especially high risk countries (like Afghanistan). And it is 10000% true that they give out fake passports and out here they have been giving out passports to almost anyone and everyone lately and it's absolutely ridiculous. They have no background checks / security checks and just throw them out like its nothing.

I think the main thing on the US part is to make sure that they are doing extensive background checks on applicants trying to enter the US from these kind of countries and also the embassy in the applicants country should also be conducting these checks before approving just anyone.

Ofcourse not everyone in these countries have the same views as these extremists and are normal people just like you and I and my fiancé who lives here too. A lot of people from these countries despise Isis and are truly scared for their lives. My fiancé and many other young men are afraid to leave their house once it gets dark around here because they can be anywhere. I think the best thing US and the country can do is get a hold of good background checks and really look into the person- that's all they can really do because you never know.

I blame the corrupt government in Afghanistan for the passports also because they just don't care it's like they just want to get rid of anyone on line trying to apply for a passport and will do anything for bribes

Even IDs here are not reliable. Anyone can have any name and things are changed for them with bribes and the people who work for passports put wrong birth dates and wrong last names and they just don't care. They sometimes don't even go based off your ID. They have no reliable ID system or system for giving out passports for that matter.

You are a breath of fresh air on this forum .For certain the open borders crowd on here will dislike the reality of what you are saying. .. We understand not everyone desires to do harm to this country . These people we welcome . I for one wish you luck. in this immigration process . Trump has been attacked for saying we need to look at this situation as you have described .. Fake ID's ect. and how to vet a population where the government is not stable and reliable .. What procedures and safeguards need to be established to safeguard this country... He has said congress needs to take a closer look at this problem .... That takes time .

How does the Afghan. population view us being in their country ? . Does the average person want us to stay or leave ? .. Years before we entered the country I followed the plight of the population under the Taliban .. Woman were not even 2nd class citizens ....No woman doctors allowed to practice .. A woman in need of medical care could never see a male doctor . Girls never allowed to attend even a basic school . Could go on and on ...If we left the chances of this lifestyle returning ?

Thank you! But honestly it is the absolute truth and I can assure you that many other afghans/Muslims who live in America will agree with me and despise the system in Afghanistan and also to be honest it gives us all a bad name!

I agree thAt all those things need to be looked into and scrutinized- I am hopeful that my immigration process for my fiancée will go smoothly as he has a clean record and never been in trouble a day in his life. However, I do understand if more background checks are needed.

The afghan population here honestly is thankful and grateful to Americans being here. I have spoken to SOOO many people, strangers who have told me they remember them being here when the tailban first was kicked out and how amazing the Americans helped to make them feel safe and were awesome to them. I speak to women here who never thought they would be able to walk out of their house to get breAd for their children without a man because they would be beaten by taliban. Now they walk out without burka, without constant fear of taliban.

Ofcourse there is still the fear of Isis and it is scAry to the people here (especially me I'm visiting I was born and raised in the United States but my parents came to America after Russia invaded) people take precautions but it is hard for the people here not to go out to work, or not to go where they need to go- they live here they have a life they just do it all in fear.

I've heard SOOO many people say that because of America they feel that the country was able to progress. Ofcourse there is so little jobs, poverty, hunger, and the corrupt government of Afghanistan just doesn't seem to diminish. Police here are corrupt government officials are corrupt and honestly a lot of afghans have told me they feel that the afghan government officials take advantage of many of the money and help Americans have provided to them and they see no results.

I'm sure some afghans would disagree here And look at Americans being in their country as bad- it's all about opinions and their state of mind. But I can tell you the most religious Muslims here old or young are thankful for the Americans being in their country and actually have told me it's weird and sad that there aren't as much passing by them in the streets anymore. When there were more Americans here few years back they actually ENJOYED seeing them here it was almost like a sense of security.

If ISIS gets its way it will be 1000000 times worse than Taliban I can guarantee you. They kill children that walk in the street alone and record it to send to television stations. They're horrible.

Everyone here gives credit to the Americans for helping their army and police become thousand times stronger than it ever was before- and that makes people feel a little more hopeful that Isis won't be able to take over KABUL atleast.

I just replied to this because I was actually in the country when it happened and thought I would give my opinion on the matter- this is my only account And I saw this topic thought I would reply to xfactor saying he/she heard they weren't real Muslim extremists when in fact they are.
