Me (UK) and my fiance (USA) are gathering things together for our I-129F petition. We originally met on Omegle 2 and a half years ago and have met in person 3 times since.

I've read about some people getting RFE's because they haven't proven the website they met on is not an IMB.

We were going to include the Omegle Terms and conditions to avoid a possible RFE, however Omegles terms are incredibly short and do not mention anything about IMB's. Plus there is no way to contact them to ask for proof they are not an IMB, they have no email or address or numbers to call.

As a result I'm not really sure how to move forward. I'm worried that if we got an RFE for this reason I would have no way of proving that Omegle is not an IMB.

I was thinking of putting the Terms and Conditions in anyway, or maybe writing a brief description of what Omegle is?

Does anyone have any advice on what I should include, or if I should include anything at all?

(For anyone who doesn't know, omegle is a chat site where you don't have to sign up or create a profile, it just matches you with a random stranger to talk with)

Thanks for any help!

Print out the terms and conditions and write a statement about it generally and about not being an imb. I'd look for Wikipedia or any news website that talk about what it is briefly as well, just to have more to show.

Good luck

I met my fiancee on Wordpress. We didn't include any Terms and Conditions. My guess is if the site is not well known or sounds like it could be an IMB then you're better off sending the Terms and Conditions. Otherwise, it's probably not necessary.

You're better off including it anyway. I assume you'll be fine though. In the part where you mention how you two met, just be very specific as in "We met on Omegle on (DATE) and then began talking blah blah blah."

My bet is that depends on the officer adjudicating the case. There's been a lot of people around who met on match.com (well known dating site and not an imb) and still got a rfe. It's better to be safe than sorry.

The answer to your question is simply include the "terms of service" to avoid an RFE. Even the more popular dating websites applicants have gotten RFE's. Best to just go ahead and include.
