Welcome to the forum.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

Hi from Texas. I am about to start my Vista journey and is nice to know there are others that have already done this. I have prepared many immigration paperwork for others but never in my situation.

I met my fiance online only a few months ago and not in the best way. He contacted me as another person and I got to know him as a person before I social the picture and found out it wasn't good. When I confronted him he told me who he was and we continued to talk as the real person he was. I fell in love with the person wiring the words. We now spend hours a day talking on the phone. Equally making the calls. Our biggest hurdle will be with the processing of the immigration paperwork as I am 30+ years older than he is and he is from Ghana. I am aware of the many scams coming out of that country but there are honest relationships also. Does anyone know what all they are going to want to prove the relationship and is it easier to go to Ghana and marry there and apply for him to come here or file the position for the fiancee and have them come here to marry or can you file for the fiancee and then go there to mastery before they come here. Just trying to find the best, quickest and easiest way so we can start our life together in the same continent

So he contacted you a few months ago pretending he is someone else and when you confronted him he told you who he really is.

You are being scammed !

There is no way for you to verify if the story he is telling you is true. Young guy meets 30 year older

lady online, professes his love.....come on ! Why do you think he pretended to be someone else ?

Go to Ghana, stay there for several months and get to know this guy and don't believe everything someone tells you online.

Ghana is a high fraud country and it is extremely hard for genuine couples who have been married to get approved but you

would have no chance for a K1 or even a quick marriage without months of real time spend together and with a 30 year

age gap. As I asked you in your other post, how on earth do you prepare immigration papers for others and don't have a clue

for your own petition.

Spoiler

Did you meet him in person? Meet first, take your time, meeting is also the evidence for immigration. You can apply for K1 fiance visa for him, the age could be a problem and could be not, it depends how real is your relationship and how many times you visited or how long did you stay together. Falling in love because chat is nice but you need to see if it's real and to know him better
