I'm sure this has been asked before, just want to clarify. Hubby and I want to go too Hawaii for a little getaway. I've only recently sent in my AOS package including my EAD and AP. Will it be an issue traveling to Hawaii and returning? I assume not because Hawaii is part of the States. Just want to know if anyone has had any experience or troubles with this?

Yeah, you shouldn't need AP if you're travelling within the 50 states or any of the U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, etc).

Going to Hawaii is no different from going from North Carolina to South Carolina. It's all domestic travel.

I’m guessing this includes moving to Hawaii aswell?

You can travel or move to any US State, Territory or Possession.   You can not transit an international point without AP or Green Card.  I do remember there being a little nuance for American Samoa.

Other than Hawaii is enforcing a quarantine on non state residents.   No sightseeing so pick a nice hotel to quarantine in.

October 21, 2021 N-400 Biometrics Completed

December 10, 2021 US Passport Issued

August 12, 2022 PHL Dual Nationality Re-established & Passport Approved
