Losing a Job?

Hello!

My name is Austin, and I am working currently at a well paying job, however it is just an internship position. I have just been informed that I am going to be finished my internship on July 28th and then I am going to not have a job. However, in september there is a 90% possibilty I will be able to move to Seattle and have a full time job position. ALSO we have just gotten our NOA2 saying that they are about to send my fiancee in mexico a form wanting to know how I will support her...

my question is, how does that form work? Do I need pay stubs? and can I just use the last pay stubs I had gotten in july to make it look like I am still working while I wait for another job? Or do my fiancee and I need to wait even longer to make sure that I have a solid hold on the job in seattle.

Any advice would be helpful!

You will fill out the form with the truth. The information should be updated shortly before the interview, so if you don't have a job by then, you need to find a sponsor

I agree with p-ana. You must fill out the form with the truth and, if you do not have work, you must find a co-sponsor or show that you have enough assets to meet the income requirements. You could also try requesting a letter from the potential new-employer (if they make you an offer) to show you will have the money coming in. Definitely do not lie or hide the truth under any circumstances, or you could risk a permanent ban:

What does a denial under INA section 212(a)(6)©(i) mean?

What is meant by misrepresentation of a material fact?

Misrepresentation means that you falsely presented facts and were not truthful in an attempt to receive a visa or enter the United States. A fact is considered material, as it pertains to this section of the INA, when, had the truth been known, you would not have been eligible to receive a visa or enter the United States.
