How long between NOA2 and NVC receives approved I-130

Timeline

Mine was less than 4 weeks, June 9th approved at Potomac, July 5th received an email from NVC with my case number and instructions. I never called or emailed them, they got in contact with me.

I had my I130 approved (NOA 2) for my wife on July 1 and I am wondering how long it takes between the approval and the NVC starting its part of the process. I thank any and all who respond

2-3 weeks

call nvc after 2 weeks from noa 2 to get an update on your status

once they get the case , wait for a week and call them again to get the case number and IIN

USCIS:

FedEx overnight I-130: December 17, 2015
NOA1 hard copy received: January 1, 2016

NOA2 hard copy received: April 24, 2016

Choice of Agent (DS-261): May 4, 2016

AOS Fee paid: May 4, 2016

IV Fee Paid: May 6, 2016

DS-260 Completed: May 14 , 2016

Case Complete : June 8,2016

Medical Completed : July 22, 2016 review link

Interview : July 28, 2016 APPROVED !!!! review link

Visa issued : July 29, 2016

Visa in hand : August 3, 2016

POE : August 4, 2016 Montreal, Canada

SSC in hand : August 15 , 2016

Green card : January 14th , 2017

It takes few days to few weeks.

Mine just to0k 5 days fr0m the approval, and n0w got my case number, IIN and BIN already. :)

0nce NVC receive your case, call them after 2 weeks for your case number

I was approved June 15th and got the welcome letter today. July 8th. Never called. Just emailed to see if they had it. Was quite surprised to get the letter a few days after the email which said 4-5 weeks.

July-29-2016 : Received AOS/IV Packet

August-26-2016 : Received Checklist

Sept-14-2016 : Received Response and Expedite Request

Sept-19-2016 : Expedite Approved (Lost 3 weeks due to supervisor review and document change)

Sept-21-2016 : Case Sent to Embassy

Sept-23-2016 : Case Received

Sept-30-2016 : Interview Scheduled (Oct 26th) 

Oct-26-2016 : Interview Approval

Nov-4-2016 : Visa In Hand

Nov-8-2016 : POE - Houston

September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)

November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
