Hello everyone :)

So i have a question well when sending off my k1 visa my husband put only one of his last names on the form, however when filling out the i864 i got requested for more evidence which is saying part 4 page 3 is either filled out with a different name or left blank, the question is i tried calling uscis however they literally just said follow the letter and hung up on me.. so my question is do i put just one last name or do i still put both last names like is on his birth certificate because i also got to re submit it as evidence?

Also please can someone help with the i864 its like so confusing.. does anyone have a example form of the updated 2016 one?for a k1 visa?

Thank youuuu :)

I am a little confused....you mentioned "husband" and you are filing K-1? I am not sure but I thought I-134 was the support document that went with I-129f

The CR-1 spousal visa uses I-864 affidavit of support form. Are you already married?

Please fill out your timeline so people can help you better

hi

your wording is confusing, the K1 isn't valid anymore, the visa helped you enter the country, now you married and filing for spousal visa

what name did he put on the i485? everything has to match

This is becoming a fairly common RFE as of late. You need to make sure every section is filled out and they match. One cannot be left blank. See this post for a reason as to what can cause that part to be left blank >http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/590289-rfe-for-affidavit-of-support-help/#entry8082009

Hi, I made almost the same mistake. I left Part 4 Sponsor's name blank. I have reviewed many copy forms and instructions and it appears to be my only mistake. Because the blank did not match the filled in name (mine) Part 1, the USCIS listed the blank as a co-sponsor / joint sponsor. I hope to call to talk to someone to see if they can tell me that is the only correction on the form needed. The long explanation to me in the letter was hard to follow.

Maybe someone can read the instruction they gave to me and see if I am right. Did others get similar instruction?

Dale
