**** Mod note: please stop making new threads regarding your question. ****

A few questions so that hopefully we can help you better:

- Did your husband have his interview yet? AP is normally after interview, but you do not mention one, and the I-130 is for the petition, not getting an interview. PLease fil in your timeline, it will help all members give you better answers.

- If he had his interview, was his case denied (and sent back to USCIS), or is it at the embassy awaiting AP?

- You mention you talked to an immigration officer at USCIS. Did you just talk to a callcenter operative (they know nothing), or a second tier officer? If only the first, call back and ask for a supervisor/ second tier officer, they sometimes have more info.

- Any red flags in your case? Recent divorce. previous immigration attempts, large age difference etc? If there has been an interview, anything the CO concentrated on, asked lots of questions about?

Some case just have very long APs unfortunately. The above link is a very long thread about that subject. The OP husband was in AP for 2 years. He just arrived to the USA a couple months ago. Read the thread maybe there are somethings in there that may help you. Stay strong and positive.

Are you a greencard holder or a US citizen? if you are a greencard holder, the wait is normal, it is over 2 years right now.

It can be security and name checks as your husband is a male muslim, it could be that they are double checking that youn are legally married or anything. It has been a very long time though, did you check with your Senator or Congress man?

You did the right thing. You contacted your senator and filled out the form and sent it back. Now you need to call the senators office to make sure they got your fax. If they did then they can start to work your case right away and try to find out why it is in AP with USCIS for so long. Please let us know what the senator's office says.
