Interview Dates at the Colombian Embassy, Bogota

Our petition for a CR-1 visa has made its way to the embassy in Bogota, Colombia, and we were instructed to set an appointment date for the interview and for biometrics via this website ais.usvisa-info.com/en-co/iv. However, when attempting to schedule a date, the calendar you use to select an interview date has all the days grayed out/unselectable. The best explanation I have gotten is that there are currently no available interview dates, but that more will be added in the future (which honestly seems like a strange way off doing things, if this is the case I would at least think that the website would prompt a message explaining this). I am wondering if anybody knows if this is the case, or if there is any form of work-around to schedule an interview date. Is anyone else experiencing this/have experienced this same problem?

Same happened to me last year, I was applying for a K1 visa and after having all my documents ready for my interview I had to wait 1 month until new dates were available, they usually open those new spots by the end of the month. Unfortunately all you can do is keep looking a few times every day.

Good luck!

Anna
