Hey~

My wife (US citizen) is in process of filling out i-864 for me.

it says we need tax report as supporting documents.

I do not understand what this could mean.

When they talk about tax report, do they mean those whole documents we received from place like H&R Block (If we used them to file our taxes)?

Or do we just pull out a specific pages from those whole document?

If it is, could you tell me which this would be?

Thank you in Advance.

It is recommended to obtain the Transcript of your taxes from the IRS, as that shows what you filed. A copy of your return package just shows you prepared your taxes, and not that you actually filed them.

You can request a copy of your Transcripts directly from the IRS here. https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

You need either a complete copy of your return with all forms, schedules and W-2s and/or 1099s, OR an IRS transcript. Either one is acceptable, per the I-864 instructions.
