1st March 2016 - N-400 Priority date - Texas service center - Lewisville

28th March 2016 - Bio-metric - San Antonio

30th March 2016 - Status changed to Interview scheduling in process

14th May 2016 - Received Interview letter

14th June 2016 - Interview - San Antonio - Approved

Expecting Oath Ceremony around 15th July 2016.

Total approx time - 4.5 months to 5 months max.

Interview Process: (All questions from my application page by page but not all questions ... here and there. Read and memorize all dates and info you put in your application)

Officer was very cool. Never asked me to show any document proof except ID, Green card and interview letter.

Give your full name?

Date of birth?

Phone number you can reached?

Current address?

How long living at this address?

Past address?

How long there?

How many times you traveled outside US?

When was your last travel and where?

Do you file your taxes every year?

How and when you became permanent resident?

Are you Divorced, Single married?

I answered divorced.

You are 3 times divorced...Oh still not able to make it? (he smiled)

I answered. Yes. Second wife married me twice and divorced me twice.

Then asked my first wife's name, date of marriage. How long marriage last? Children etc

Asked my second and third wife's name, date of marriage. How long marriage last? Children etc ( No kids through 2nd and 3rd).

Did you have any traffic violations?

I answered 4. I paid fines for 2 and took Deferred Disposition of other 2. Didn't ask for proof and I didn't have them either.

He asked me take oath(last pages) and sign the last pages of application.

English test:

Asked me to read three simple sentences and write one simple sentence which he dictated.

Civic test: (Read the book and practice using the CD which comes with book)

1. What does Constitution do? Defines Govt. Sets up Govt. Protects basic rights of Americans

2. How long we elect senate for? 6 years

3. Who are your Senators? Senator Ted Cruz, Senator John Cornyn

4. Who is the Governor of Texas? Greg Abbott

5. What emancipation proclamation do? Freed the slaves

6. Name two National holidays? Independence day and Thanksgiving day

7. Who wrote the Constitution - Federalist paper - James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, John Jay, Publius

8. Who is our first President? George Washington

9. What Martin Luther King do? Fought for Civil rights, Fought for equal rights for Americans.

10. Who wrote the Declaration of Independence? Thomas Jefferson.

I answered all of them correct. He said very good sir. Congratulated me and said my petition to naturalize was approved and gave an approval form with his sign and seal.

He asked me to keep looking for a oath ceremony letter in mail within 30 days and attend the oath ceremony without fail as per instructions in that letter.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
