Yes updated with date only when I make an inquiry but this is doesn't mean anything,I'm still under Mandatory Administrative Processing.

The only change should be from AP to ready to issued,I really miss my family and need to e with them.

What about you bookman?

Did you try to involve the congressman to make an inquiry for you? I know in some cases it doesn't make any change but for your case you will get a response from the embassy, try it.

congressman cannot help me at this point cuz my husband has a very common last name.Co told him after interview that name check has to be done. When they re done she will give him a call. If I do not get any updates or call from Now still end of July, then I am planning on going back home comes August.

Hi all,

We are in AP since October 26th 2015. We are very desperate at this point. Last update was February 2016. I don't want to involve congressman again, I did in January 20th, and then it updated on the 22nd, on the 31st and lastly on February 1st.

I am afraid they might get mad and reject it. I am in panic mode.

In 2 years, almost 3 years of marriage, my husband and I just had our first argument, and it is because of this situation. He has been without job all this time and is not easy for him.

I forgot to say we are I130

Sorry to hear that ,We all here in the same boat and we need to be patient and each couple hold together.

My story is my interview was back on march

The officer ask me normal question.

Didn't take any update documents mean ( new taxes or bank statement or pay stub,or any pictures or anything)except my police record.

She was telling me regarding for your documents we won't make a decision right now.

I asked how long it will takes

She said two months I said doesn't it will take longer?

She said maybe three.

I asked her how could I know?

She said we will text you

Since that day I didn't hear any updates except my case is under " Mandatory Administrative Processing " that's it.

I hope we can have this month a good news.

We interviewed in March too. We are K1 visa.

We haven't had any updates at all since the interview.

I've had my congressman contact the embassy 3 times and all they say is 'mandatory security checks'

I email the embassy myself and they say the same thing.

I don't think they have done anything on our case. I don't think they're reviewing it at all.

The CO at the interview kept my fiancé's passport and said that we would be in AP but it 'shouldn't take too long'

That's exactly what she said. I was there I heard those words.

But now we are just waiting and there's no information and no updates.

My fiancé can't support the both of us in Egypt so we have no choice but to be apart. I visit when I can but it doesn't make all the days apart any easier.
