How long does it take to receive your k1 visa once you mail in your passport to the usa embacy ?

Hi!

They might take up to 8 weeks but I've seen a lot of cases got Issued sooner. (around 2 to 4 weeks) ( MTL is very unpredictable)

What month was your interview? My husband has been waiting for 1 year on AP

I had my interview 1 1/2 years ago but had to get a I190 for admissibility approved .. By the time I got that approved all my documents and medical expired so I had to get new medical police checks ect.. They told me no new interview is required just courier my passport and all updated documents to them.

So was just wondering how long before Id have my k1 visa back in my hand so I can move and get married.

Normally about 6-12 weeks after they get everything and confirm. I assume you sent it to the US Consulate in Montreal?

Well it's pretty much impossible to get your visa back without them having your passport.


Are the scheduled visits more important than getting your K1 visa?
