Green card and SSN delivery

My wife did her POE almost 4 weeks ago and we haven't seen anything come in the mail yet.
I paid my fees after her interview, and I am pretty sure I applied for her SSN when I did the application.

Although I did my I-130 like 2 years ago so it is really hard to remember.

Is there a way to check on the status of these two things?

Go to the SS office make sure you are in the system.

Here is how to track the green card

How to pay the Green Card Production fee of $165 on the Elis system.

NO NEED FOR ACCESS CODE, that is for other procedures like getting a copy of a green card, etc.

1. Create the ELIS account here: https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

2. Go here to pay fee: https://www.uscis.go...g-online-filing

3. Click to pay the USCIS immigrant fee icon.

4.Click "continue" at the bottom.

5.Enter the Alien Number and the NVC or DOS case. Use the same email you used on the ELIS account.

This is critical to enable your created ELIS account to receive your payment information.

6. You will get an email confirming your payment.

7. When you log again on the ELIS account, you will see your case number. (It is added automatically).

8. Login into your ELIS account to track or check the status of your Green Card.

Note: Green Card process starts when immigrant enters USA and is processed at POE.

I had my interview last wednesday, my visa shows as issued on the CEAC website.

I want to pay the fee but I don't have my A-number ? (which is the alien number if i'm right)

Should i wait for my passport back and get it from there ?

Im trying to planne ahead for my wife to get her social security number when she gets here. Does she applies for the SSN before the visa is issued or after the green card is issued. Our case is at nvc now. And I paid the AOS and IV fee. I'm waitind for the fee to say "paid" so i can fillout rhe DS260.

And can I send the AOS and IV before i fill out the D260 or I have to include the confirmTion page of the DS260 in the package?

So you can request an SSN with the DS-260 however, if it doesn't arrive within 2-3 weeks after your wife arrives in the USA, you can go to an SSA office and request a SSN manually. Check out the SSA website for the form download.

Take both passport and Birth Certificate

They asked my birth certificate. But then again it was 11 yr ago.
