Administrative Processing

We are currently in administrative processing. It is my understanding that all of them go through this. My question is, at what point should we begin to wonder if there is something wrong?

I don't think there is anything wrong, as we have been in this status for only a few hours. (K1)

That is an excellent question. The only other one I have seen here was a marriage visa. Which has different processing. They say "issued."

This is normal processing. No one can say for sure when it will be issued. Most run about 5-7 business days BUT it can take longer. More patience is needed.

Yes and there is more hoops one must jump through. See my website if you want a better insight to the Filipino process. In my signature below is the link at the red twisting arrow.

It usually follows AP, Ready, AP and then issued. If you are not checking you could miss these steps but that usually is the routine.

The UID is the number by the barcode on the DS 160, right? AA******* like that, right? I seem to remember this ID from our NOA2 as "alien number"

I think UID is the number by the barcode on your appointment letter for interview.. I think it's all numbers..

Aside from e-trace of 2GO, I also check http://cgifederal.secure.force.com/ to track my passport.. so far mine shows this

Hi! I'm also still under ISSUED as well. Hopefully our visas are ready soon!
