Ok here I go! I immigrated may years ago to US and have my 10 year GC. Some stuff went down professionally and my wife and I decided to move back to Canada this past January. I had already applied for my US Citizenship. I have my Interview next month and am planning on going to it. I have crossed the border a few times and told the guards about GC and immigrating and they told me I can still get my Citizenship if its within a year of receiving my Interview letter. True? Suggestions?

Thanks

Legal advice from CBP is worth precisely what you paid for it.

If you've moved to another country then your LPR status may be deemed to have been abandoned, and so your N-400 may be denied.
