Hey everyone,

I'm a U.S. Citizen by Naturalization and I'm in the process of submitting the application for the sponsorship of both my parents who are in Brazil. I have already paid for both the AOS and the IV filing fee, now once I am ready to start on the actual online applocation, will there be a link to submit the documents electronicly or will I need to mail them in.

Also, if anyone can help me with regards to police certificates. I'm not entirely sure how my parents can obtain these and what they are all about.

Thanks im advance for any help on this.

They will need the Policia Federal certificate online on the Policia Federal website and it is good for 90 days. They also need certificates from the Policia Civil from the State they live, some States offer the service online others request they go to a delegacia (this certificate is known az antecedentes criminais). If after the age of 16 yr they have lived in different States for more than 6 months, they will need the certificates from each State.
