DS-260 Application & Visa records

Hello Everyone!

I have been selected to proceed with Visa application in DV-2017.

I am trying to complete my DS-260 application and I am stuck on the Previous Visa information.

I have visited USA twice, the first one in 1991. I was 11 years old and my mother requested her visa and mine. we do not have the issue date of that visa and the system is not allowing me to continue with the next information required if I do not state the date.

I went to USA in March 1991 and I assume the visa was issued at least one month prior to the trip, but I am just guessing.

Is there any chance to get a Visa record in order to avoid mistake with the application?

Some people give the dates to " as best as they remember" or you can search for your I-94 and see if your visits are there.

Do your best estimate. I'm a DVer from 2015. I was the same as you. We went to Hawaii in 1991 for two weeks. I knew it was in September but I didn't know the visa numbers or exact dates. I guessed. There were no issues.

Hi Misuko,

To be honest I do not know. I already sent it as they mention clearly that you should apply as soon as possible because not all the preselected people will get the visa.
