Hi dear people,

is it required to have vaccinations ready before the interview K1?

we are not there yet but want to get prepared in order to minimize the processing time.

i found a list of vaccinations on the US state government as below,

  • Hepatitis A
  • Hepatitis B
  • Influenza
  • Influenza type b (Hib)
  • Measles
  • Meningococcal
  • Mumps
  • Pneumococcal
  • Pertussis
  • Polio
  • Rotavirus
  • Rubella
  • Tetanus and diphtheria toxoids
  • Varicella

I do not have any records of vaccinations but I did get varicella when i was little but i do not have any proof. Do I need to get them all :( ?

feels quite painful as even imagining it...

Thank you all!

thank you so much Pitaya, but I am still in doubt that whether I need to get all the vaccinations.

I've read some posts on this forum and it is recommended to do it with GP first. BUT they only talk about two vaccinations.

I am wondering if anyone has this experience before?

thanks!

Get your doctor to take a blood test to see which you have had and get it on paper from him.

I had all mine from when I was a child but Hep A + B and flu wasn't needed.

oh thats smart!!

thank you for the advice. i will do that :))

Obtaining serum antibody titers can certainly determine your level of immunity. A word of caution: Depending on medical insurance coverage, sometimes it is cheaper to get the vaccination than get the lab test done.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Well we have free doctors here so I don't think of the costs :)

I don't think it'll be much in the Nederlands either and probably cheaper then getting all the shots again.
