Can I send more information prior to receiving a case number?

I've just submitted our K1 visa package and have already caught a mistake before being processed. Instead of sending in a copy of my birth certificate, I opted to send in a copy of my passport. But I completely missed the sentence "You must submit copies of all pages in the passport." I sent only copies of the photo page and the stamps of entry to my fiance's country.

I anticipate an RFE. However, can I send copies of the full passport now (I'll probably toss in a copy of my birth certificate for good measure) to the Dallas PO box, prior to receiving a case file number? Or should I wait for the RFE and case file number instead?

Whoops.

I've found the info for the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283, for RFEs. I'll call them Monday to see what they say.

What for an RFE. They won't match up your add-ons to your file.

1) Big thanks to the person(s) maintaining the master RFE list. This is super helpful! http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/573657-new-k-1-rfe-master-list/

2) LOL I see someone was cited for "did not send all pages of divorce decree." I also only submitted the top page with the date of divorce on it since it's the only page that seemed relevant, the rest of the decree doesn't have relevant information.

Now I'm looking forward to getting the RFE so I can get the full list of things USCIS wants from us. It seems easy enough to DIY the K1 but catching everything is proving tough, oh well.

Thanks!

I meant to type "wait" for an RFE. Glad you can read typos. :)
