Make certain you are using a browser that they recommend and that you are entering the number correctly. The online system is known for its errors and very slow update times. IF you just received the number give it a few days or so and try again. Calling the MISINFORMATION line (USCIS) will more than likely result in frustration and wasted time. The first person you talk to see no more than you do. You need to ask for a supervisor and then they may or may not be very helpful. Thankfully I only had to call them about one thing, but it took four attempts to get to the right person to help me.

I entered the receipt number into the uscis website to track my petition for my father. but it always said the number didnt exist. Should I call them? Thank you.

What's your NOA1 date? You don't have a timeline linked so I wasn't sure. My NOA1 is 24th March and it still isn't online, but there are 46 receipt numbers mising online in one bunch (yes I sat there and checked them to see on a tracking app).

Bear in mind if you decide to call it has to be the petitioner not beneficiary who does so. I tried :-( Now waiting for time zones to match to try them again.

Keen to see how you go as I'm in the same situation.

I was curious as to whether mine was missed or they just werent up to data entering that date yet. I was able to do a search of a range of receipt numbers and there are 46 from 7030 - 7076 not data entried. I fall in there. Might be similar with yours where they just haven't data entried it into the system yet. Let me know how you go ?
