Hello! My name is Edin, I'm from Bosnia and Herzegovina. I'm 20 years old. My father lives in usa since 2001, he is US Citizen and he filed Form I-130 for IR-2 visa on January 10th. January 25th he received NOA1. April 15th he recieved NOA2, case is approved. Few days ago, April 27th, case has been sent to NVC.
Will he need to send them Affidavit of support or he is finished with filing documents, do now I have to bring them everything else? He sent me his copy of naturalization certificate, copy of passport and affidavit of support to give them on interview.
I will bring my birth certificate, certificate of citizenship, that I never have been married, document that I am relieved of military duty, passport ,school records and court and prison certificate that I never had any law problems. I also plan to print our skype and facebook conversations, our pictures even though I have only few of them because I was shy as a kid and last time he visited Bosnia was in 2012.

He sent them with form i130 divorce papers because my parents are divorced.
He sent applied for visa for his new wife in 2012, she is currently in usa, can that affect my case?
Any other documents you recommend I bring them?
If anyone have some experience with this visa, can you please tell me timeline of who will have to file other documents etc. Thank you!

~~moved to bringing family members of USC to the USA from IR1/CR1 Spouse Visa process and procedures~~

Your father will need a copy of your bio-data page of your passport, your birth certificate, your police certificate, etc...

You will also need 2 5cmx5cm US passport style photos for your eventual interview.

Everything you need to know is on here: https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/family/family-preference.html

Required Documentation
In general, the following documents are required:

  • Passport(s) valid for 60 days beyond the expiration date printed on the immigrant visa
  • Affidavit of Support (Form I-864, I-864A, I-864 EZ, or I-864W, as appropriate) from the petitioner/U.S. sponsor. In addition to this guidance, tips are available for completing the affidavit of support (tips for I-864, tips for I-864A, tips for I-864EZ, and tips for I-864W).
  • Form DS-260, Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration Application. Preview a sample DS-260 (6.4MB).
  • Two (2) 2x2 photographs. See the required photo format explained in Photograph Requirements.
  • Civil Documents for the applicant (and petitioner in F4 cases). See Documents the Applicant Must Submit for more specific information about documentation requirements, including information on which documents may need to be translated. The consular officer may ask for more information during your visa interview. Bring your original civil documents (or certified copies), such as birth and marriage certificates, as well as legible photocopies of the original civil documents, and any required translations to your immigrant visa interview. Original documents and translations can then be returned to you.
  • Completed Medical Examination Forms – These are provided by the panel physician after you have completed your medical examination and vaccinations (see below).

Not sure if its relevant, but I recommend getting about 6 passport style photos, that is if there is a medical required for this Visa as well. And then 2 more will be leftover in case they "lose" it at the interview.

You do need them for the medical but I was explicitly stating what's needed for interview.
