I just sent in my I-130 form, I know they are doing more extensive background checks for the k1 fiance visa, but is there any change for k2 spouse visa ..

I have heard if you have met online, that could be a problem. Has anyone heard within the current 6 to 1eat months or know if it matters ?

My wife is from Ukraine..

Hmm, there is no K2 spouse visa. Are you referring to IR1/CR1 spousal visa?

The Form I-130 is used to petition for any relative -- child, mother, father, sibling, spouse etc.

If you filed it for your wife, then that would put her in the IR1/CR1 category. Meeting online should not be an issue. Did you include evidence of a bona fide marriage? Chats, conversations, photos, meeting together, flights, passport stamps etc.?

Meeting online isn't a problem as long as you show evidence of a bonafide relationship and prove that the online site is not a marriage broker. There are plenty of threads here on VJ regarding that topic you can use the search tool to read up on. Many VJers meet online.

Meeting online is not an issue, as long as you can also document spending time together in person. When did you marry?

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

Your previous posts suggest that the lady from Uzbekistan got as far as the interview stage in November 2014 so you met your new wife not long after that.

Be prepared for that to be questioned. Does you new wife know about the previous fiancée?
