Hi,I wanna know if how long does it take for an interview in USEM? Let's say you're schedule for 7:30 am, will it be done in few hours? coz I'm about to book my plane ticket going there and I wanna be back in my province right after the interview? will it took me until 4pm in the afternoon for the interview if it starts 7:30? Thank you in advance for the reply!

What province are you going to go back to po? I say this because different provinces different times for leaving Manila. But I would normally think it will take the majority of the day of the interview. Also you have to think about the traffic back to NAIA from the embassy. So I would say anytime after 5 should be fine, you MIGHT could swing alittle earlier but you would be taking a gamble if you did that.

Cebu po...ah whole po ba sa interview?kala ko po kasi kahit until 3pm, kukuha sana ako nang flight na 9pm pabalik ng cebu. Thanks po sa reply

No problem for the reply. I am not totally fluent in Tagalog so my reply will be in English, sorry I am not conversationally in Bisaya either and only use it when I am in Davao with my asawa. But Cebu Pacific has a flight that leaves at 4:35pm and one that leaves at 5:40pm and 6:00pm going to Cebu during the week. So if I were you I would pick at least either one comfortably to fly out that day.

Cebu po..

It's ok you can speak Filipino if you want, just make sure you post to the Philippine forum when you do. English is used primarily in the main forums.

Paxenxa, I've been a member of VJ for quiet few months and I'm still not familiar with many things in here like posting, I clicked the Philippine forum but couldn't see my post there....Do you think the 7:30 schedule interview will take me until late in the afternoon?if so I will just book the 19th morning flight...i appreciate your reply.

It took us until about 1:15pm for my asawa's interview at the embassy. But there were still people there when we left so it could take longer, also you have to figure in traffic in Manila for what time you will be able to get to the airport. So yes I would safely say about 4:30 flight from Cebu Pacific.

My flight was 4:50am with PAL ( I'm glad that it's not delayed or cancelled lol ). Arrived manila 6:00am and went straight to USEM.. After I got done with the interview I went straight to the airport from USEM. My flight going back to cebu is 10pm but they were able to early go-show me on the earlier flight which departs at 1:00pm.. It's not advisable but it worked for me. Hehe

The interview was my fiance's name, address and my fiance's now husband favorite food.. Hehe.. And after that the CO just told me to go to step 5

To be on the safe side, I will say take that day off. In fact no one can answer that question because it ranges from person to person. Other factors can influence the timing, like weather, number of interviews on that day, emergency situations, unexpected circumstances. In fact so many factors I can think off.

On average it take between 3-4 hours for the interview, most of which is spent waiting for your number to be called ... always the waiting game.

If you book a later afternoon flight you should be fine.
