As much as I love the Philippines (and I really do) this is how I perceive many processes.

When has the embassy every asked for a corrected I-129F? I know USCIS has, but never heard of USEM asking for a corrected petition form.

They asked Chinook for a corrected I-129F. There have been others. It's dangerous to assume the cases we see here on VJ represent all of the cases that run through the embassy. It's always better to play it safe when dealing with the big gray area of visas.

If you are referring to the updated letter of intent to marry within 90 days of entering the U.S., then the answer is yes.

It's a mystery to me why anyone would assert that what they see in this forum would apply to every K-1 case that runs through the U.S. Embassy Manila.

We have yet to schedule and attend the K1 interview. Still waiting for the NOA2. Dyn updated her passport well in advance. Nobody from the DFA in Cebu asked for an LOI during the passport process. At least not yet. I will DEFINITELY make sure Dyn brings an updated LOI to her interview. Thanks for the heads up on that one. Good call.

Embassy has not asked for a Letter of Intent to marry in over 5 years. No need to have that one. USCIS during the petition process is the only place it is required. (that was an inside thing with Tahoma and I)

Actually, what I meant was, I will send Dyn an updated I-129F (without the passport info in the wrong place) and not an updated LOI. No reason for another LOI best I can tell.

You and Dyn are unlikely to need an updated letter of intent to marry. On the other hand, those with questionable relationships or weak evidence are advised to bring everything they've got.

May i know whats the name of your lawyer? i am processing my annulment but still waiting for the pre trial it will be one year this july...im not sure if its okay to change lawyer.....
